Stay & Play

We encourage all young children about to start at the preschool, to come for Stay and Play sessions, during the school holidays, when we are running our holiday clubs.

You are welcome to pop in for an hour or so, during the mornings between 9.30-11.30am or in the afternoons between 2-3.30pm. Children that attend our stay and play sessions tend to make smooth transitions into the nursery as a result.

They provide parents and carers with the opportunity to bring children aged 0 -5 years.

Stay and play with your child/ren, meet like minded people.

Children can play and interact with other families, whilst getting to know the pre-school staff and become familiar with an Early Years setting

‘Children are born ready, able and eager to learn. They actively reach out to interact with other people, and in the world around them. Development is not an automatic process, however. It depends on each unique child having opportunities to interact in positive relationships and enabling environments.’ Development matters, DFE
